CHERRY BLOSSOMS!

Ong Ba Ngoai were able to enjoy the beginning of the Cherry Blossom Festival when they were down here for a visit.

Ong Ngoai and I hung at the Tidal Basin overlooking the Jefferson Memorial just thinking about how beautiful it was.

Well, Ong Ngoai was thinking that. I was busy blowing home-made bubbles.

Mom even took off of work early to join us for the walk from the Botanic Garden (more pics on that later) to the Washington Monument. Sweet.

I loved being outside in the warm weather sightseeing with all the rest of the tourists. It just made me want to shout - Hoorah!

And I loved just sitting and chillin' with Ong Ngoai too.
